Clear scope first. Written approval for anything extra.

These general terms support hvac-it quotes for AC, electrical, moisture, drying, restoration, and equipment work. The signed quote or final work order controls the project-specific scope, price, schedule, and exclusions.

What the quote means

A professional quote should be easy to read. Price, scope, payment schedule, and approvals should be visible before anyone signs. Longer legal wording belongs with the quote, not hidden from the customer.

Payment 50/50 schedule

Unless the signed quote says otherwise, the first payment is due at approval or start of work and the final payment is due after listed work is completed and tested.

Scope Listed work only

The quoted price applies to the listed scope. Extra work, materials, concealed conditions, permit-related changes, or customer-requested changes need written approval first.

Electrical Code-ready conditions

Circuits, breakers, disconnects, panel upgrades, utility-side work, and code corrections are included only when listed on the quote.

Materials Allowances and exclusions

Only listed equipment, labor, and materials are included. Drywall, paint, exterior finish, concrete or masonry drilling, plumbing, roof repair, and flooring are excluded unless listed.

Schedule Confirmed by message or phone

Final scheduling depends on site access, safe working conditions, electrical readiness, weather, permits, and equipment availability.

Warranty Manufacturer terms plus written labor terms

Equipment warranties follow manufacturer terms. Labor or workmanship warranty, if offered for a specific project, must be stated on the signed quote or final work order.
